This piece is vibrant and yet subtle. The bright colors of the alcohol ink contrast against the top vintage look of the crackles with brown color. New versus old look.
i wanted this piece to show how we can feel after a big emotional shock. Everything seems to crack and falls apart around us. Then after a while hopefully, slowly but surely, we push away all the pain, bad feeling and bad vibes, and colors are back in our life. We turn our heart, spirit and soul to better place.
Dramatic perhaps, but when it happens it hurts.
