Build in 1812 mainly with wood, owned by Oil Company, the entire building was burned down in 1892. It was rebuild with bricks but still today the wooden beams inside the Inn have to be re-painted to cover oil stains that saturated the beams
Vacant for more than 20 years, in 1930, a blue jeans factory took over and finally in 1987 it re-opened as the Olde Harbour Inn
